2-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION COMING JUNE 15, 2022.

Due to the increasing threat of cyber-crime in today’s world, beginning June 15, 2022, Gunnison Savings & Loan will be requiring two-factor authentication for all online banking logins.

 

What is two-factor authentication?

  • Two-factor authentication is an added layer of online security. In addition to your username and password, a code will be needed in order to access your accounts.

 

How’s does two-factor authentication work?

  • When you log on to your online banking account, a text message containing a numeric code will be sent to your mobile phone. Once received, you will be required to enter this code on the logon page before gaining access to your accounts.

 

What will I need to do to prepare for two-factor authentication?

  • Once two-factor authentication goes into effect on June 15, 2022, the next time you log in you will be prompted to follow a one-time setup to enable this security feature.
